As Easy as 1,2,3...

I seriously love this stuff! And you can only buy it by the quart at Lowe's, so this is going to last me forever!

I've been washing out and saving these cute candle jars after I'm done using them. So I've been trying to figure out what to do with them. Here's what I came up with!

Step 1. Tape off your area to paint.

Step 2. This will take several coats of chalkboard paint. If you're not a patient person like me, a hairdryer works great in between coats!

Step 3. Let them dry really well and then peel off the tape(very carefully) and ta da! They're finished!

I'm going to use them for various supplies such as hot glue sticks and paper clips!

And there you have it, another simple and cute snow day(or any day) craft!

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
~Psalm 118:24

Lindsey

  2. I tried this after seeing your blog and the chalk board paint came off when I used chalk. How many coats..? I used a spray chalk board paint. I'm at Mel's Cabin if you choose to respond. Thanks so much.
