Paper Flag Banners!

A few pictures of my living room spruced up with my paper flag banners!

Whew, this summer has flown by so quickly! And it has been a busy one! I have been slacking on my blogging updates. Unfortunately I haven't had as much time as I would like to craft and work on projects. I just wanted to share something that I have come to love a LOT! That is, paper flag banners/buntings. I just love how charming they are, and how easy they are to make!

With a little help from Google, I looked up a few pictures that helped inspire me!

Example One: Love the bright colors. These were used for birthday party decor.

Example Two:

Example Three:

Example Four: I LOVE a cute book page project!

What are some of your summer obsessions?
Hope everyone is staying cool in this heat!

Blessings,

~Lindsey

I LOVE burlap and old chippy ladders!

This is my new friend, chippy ladder! I found him at a garage sale a couple months back for only 2.50! He's been sitting in my garage just waiting for me to decide where to put him! :) I decided to try the dining room! and of course accessorized with burlap and some old books amongst a couple other things!

it's old, it's chippy, it's LOVE! absolutely perfect for the look that I'm going for!

so vintage farmhouse chic! :)

please excuse the bare windows with no window treatments! still working on that!

My new shelf that I antiqued and is now hanging on the wall by our front door! :)

What projects have you been working on lately?

Blessings,

~Lindsey

Welcome to Paradise! A look into our vacation 2011

South Carolina: Where the tea is sweet, and the people are sweeter!

About a month ago, Josh and I went to South Carolina for his best friends wedding. We decided to add stay a week and make a vacation out of it! It was so beautiful there! It's country feel and charm was definitely swoon-worthy! We stayed at a beach house for the first 4 nights. We were literally right on the sand and about 50 yards from the ocean! We had so much fun just walking up and down the beach, enjoying the view, and collecting treasures. Our last 3 nights, we stays with our former youth minister and his family. We love them! They took us to do some really fun things! On our last day there, we were able to visit Charleston before heading to the airport and do some shopping and sigh seeing of the historical city!

Overall we had a blast celebrating Tyler and Makenzie's wedding! We got to hang out with old friends, and make new ones. Thanks Ty and Mak for letting us be a part of your special day!

Here are some snapshots from the week! :0)
